Export the contacts on your S60 phone to CSV format
Lookup is a Series 60 application that allows you to find a contact on your phone by typing in their phone number or a fragment of it. This is especially useful if you have missed a call on a landline, retrieved the phone number using a caller ID function and want to look it up in your mobile's phonebook.
The Lookup application queries the Symbian OS Contacts database to retrieve the names and numbers of all the contacts stored on the phone and populates a CEikFormattedCellListBox that displays the entries matching the telephone number entered by the user.
An example of how various programming platforms can be harnessed to produce an interesting application.

Lookup has been an invaluable app. There have been a few times I've had the phone bill come through, wondered whose number I'd dialled only to find a friend has upgraded and changed their phone number. Lookup saved me the embarrassment of having to call them again to find out. I've put off upgrading my phone for so long simply to keep this app. I'm now going to keep my N70 on standby so that I can synchronise my new phones with it simply to use Lookup. It's not burdened with gaudy colours, but remains simple. Definitely an app built for functionality over fashion (as it should be).
Pros: It's always available. It works from as little as one digit. It saves you having to call the number to find out who it belongs to.
Cons: Available from the 3650 to N70 only. This really should be released for S60v3 and v5!
